Prepared for the Pro Silva Europe Annual Meeting 2026 (9–11 September 2026), this report presents the 25-year development of the “Mexikó-puszta” Pro Silva Exemplary Forest in Hungary. It summarizes practical experience with continuous cover forestry, including silvicultural methods, harvesting techniques, economic performance, ecological outcomes, climate adaptation, and knowledge transfer. The report demonstrates how long-term operational practice and scientific research can jointly support the sustainable management of temperate broadleaved forests.
